At Legacy Kids Academy the curriculum is teacher emergent.

Emergent curriculum is a way of planning curriculum in response to children’s interests to create meaningful learning experiences. Emergent curriculum activities and projects are planned by educators to match the skills, interests and unique needs of the specific children they are working with.

It includes literacy, math, science, social studies, and handwriting (handwriting without tears).

 

The curriculum is developmentally appropriate, based on the children's assessments, with activities linked to objectives in alignment with the infant toddler early learning guidelines.
